What is Relay for Life?

Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society's organization offering community members an opportunity to help in the fight against cancer. Teams from all over the nation create events that you can participate in. In Lenawee County, Wacker Chemical Corporation (WCC) is a team that coordinates many activities where you can become involved such as the Race for Hope, Relay for Life event, fashion show, and silent auction. Lenawee County Relay for Life

Every year the American Cancer Society (ACS) sponsors a nationwide Relay for Life event where encouraging people to get involved in the fight against cancer. This year's event in the Lenawee county area is scheduled to take place on August 13 through August 14, 2010 at the Christian Family Centre. The theme for this is "Happy Birthday Celebrating 15 years of Relay in Lenawee County ."
